Dr Amir Ali Abbasi will deliver a seminar titled " Human Brain Evolution in Context of Enhancer Divergence"

 
 
Dr. Amir Ali Abbasi from Department of Bioinformatics will represent Pakistan and Quaid-i-Azam University in the Global Platform of Big Data in Life sciences that will be held in Beijing from Oct 11 to Oct 14th. This international forum is organized by BIG data center, Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. World-renowned scientists from prestigious international institutes will deliver seminars to highlight Next Generation DNA Sequencing Technologies and their role in accelerating biological and biomedical research through the wide applications on pharmaceutical sciences, precision medicine, forensic investigations, targeted DNA sequencing and gene expression profiling of cancer patients, and small RNA sequencing of infectious diseases like hepatitis and AIDS. Global Platform of Big Data in Life sciences also aims to highlight the application of genomic analysis to the preservation of the viability of populations and the biodiversity of living organisms.
